When you open a Gideons 1968 AKJV New Testament the first page of the Biblical text reads “THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO SAINT MATTHEW”. But when you open a Gideons 1985 NKJV New Testament the first page of the biblical text reads “THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO MATTHEW”. (Note: the word “saint” is out!) These two New Testaments look identical on the outside: but inside one is holy; and the other is unholy! As a matter of fact, the word “testament” can’t even be found in the NKJV! Therefore, it is an unofficial New Testament!
